2008 NASCAR Diecast Cars

Here we go..finally I've started the 2008 NASCAR diecast car page!  I'll be adding diecasts daily so please keep checking back and remember I'll gladly keep you updated via e-mail if you'd like (just let me know shelley @ duncanpitbox.com).  As usual, many of the diecasts actually sell out at the pre-order stage so if there are any you want to reserve don't wait too long.

Diecasts are back to being Action - yeah.

This year the NASCAR diecasts are Action Platinum Series.  The 1:24-scale limited edition collectible includes over 100 total parts. With a die-cast body and chassis, this sleek replica's authenticity is evident. Key features also include: hood and trunk open, manufacturer-specific engine detail, accurate header contour and simulated exhaust openings. Each 1:24-scale die-cast will also contain a DIN, visible through the back window, for registration. Limited production quantities will be determined for each car to heighten its future value and featured on the packaging is a silver sticker with 1 of XXXX. Each die-cast is packaged in a custom printed box. ---------------

Whenever the 2008 NASCAR diecasts are available in either the 1/64 scale Platinum Series Hood Open or the Kids Hardtop Series it's indicated below.

For each Cup race a very limited quantity of As Raced Champion 1/24 scale diecasts ares produced - If your favorite NASCAR driver wins a race (or you're looking for a great gift idea for a fan) reserve the diecast quickly.

Clint Bowyer kept his recent string of top-10 finishes in tact with a 10th place effort in the Goody's Cool Orange 500 NASCAR Sprint Car Series race at Martinsville Speedway. At the same time, BB&T enjoyed a top-10 finish in its first outing as a primary sponsor in NASCAR's top division. The BB&T Chevrolet will run for a second and final time for the 2008 season on May 3, 2008 at Richmond International Speedway. BB&T is currently the primary sponsor for Clint Bowyer's #2 BB&T Monte Carlo in the Nationwide Series. Update * Clint Bowyer won in this car at Richmond 2008.

Race Date: May 25th, 2008 at Charlotte. Memorial Day Weekend is always thrilling for race fans at Lowe's Motor Speedway. This year, a special celebration of America's military personnel takes place with the Salute the Troops program. Clint Bowyer and Richard Childress Racing join the celebration of America's heroes with a special Jack Daniel's paint scheme on the No. 07 Chevrolet. This special paint scheme features the Salute the Troops logo on the rear quarter panels and spoiler wings, as well as "Toast to the Troops" on the rear deck lid.

This momentous win placed Denny 4th on the starting grid for the Daytona 500 and also marks the first victory for Toyota Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series. Denny Hamlin's raced version FedEx Express will come with a special Gatorade Duel 2 insert card to commemorate the victory.
